Outfit of the Day: Christmas Shopping

Today I’m going to do some of the last bits of my christmas shopping and I just thought I’d share my warm and cozy outfit, this is by far my favourite jumper ever in the whole wide world ever! It’s so warm and I feel like I’m wrapped up in a little cloud. P1020076I’m wearing the jumper with the awesome pattern (it was a gift but I believe it’s from Beale’s) some leather look leggings from Topshop and although you can’t see them I have on some super cosy tights from Primark underneath to make sure my legs stay toasty. My heeled boots are also from Primark.

I kept my accessories really simple due to the fluffiness of the jumper – I didn’t want to go overboard and just look huge so I added some simple midi rings and because I’m a geek I added my deathly hallows pendant. P1020080 P1020078My nails are Rimmel sage green its a simple understated colour that I really like wearing on my nails and for my lips I’m using my NYX jumbo lip pencil in Narcisse that I just love. I’m being really lazy with my hair and leaving it down (possibly with a wooly hat on top depending on how cold it actually is when I get to the door). Altogether I really like this outfit and when I head out I’m going to throw on a moto jacket and my tartan scarf for extra warmth.

Christmas!!!

I’ve been trying to hold back my excitement for christmas until a more appropriate time, but today it has hit me in full force and I just cant contain myself. It doesn’t help that nearly all of my christmas shopping is done – I know I can’t quite believe how organised I have been about it! Today I’m officially declaring christmas in my house, my mini tree is up, presents wrapped and christmas music is playing even my outfit and nails today are christmassy! Another thing that has also helped to put me in the christmas spirit is that I have changed my hair – I really liked the ombre that I had but it had just killed the ends of my hair and I don’t really want to lose any length so I’ve gone back to my more natural chocolate brown all over soon to be followed by a deep conditioner tomorrow – back on topic now, I tend to get a bit tired of my hair and change it some way round about christmas and every time I do now it just gets me excited!

This is  a picture of the new hair (it’s bad quality and bad lighting I know and I do apologise I just wanted to show you the hair) My outfit is a pleather skater skirt, nude glittery top and a burgundy cardigan with gold buttons – the gold and red tones just make me think of christmas (or gryffindor – but that would most certainly not be my house)Photo on 2013-11-25 at 22.04 #2My presents are sat in a pile waiting for santa to collect them and my tree looks a little sat on my windowsill – P1020058P1020059
